Shannon is a native Texan, born and raised in the suburbs of Dallas. She is a Senior Vice President and fifteen year commercial banker serving Sterling Bank in the Dallas area, targeting the needs of clients in the small and middle market sector throughout the Metroplex. She has a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University, and was trained at some of the largest banks in our country.

Shannon is a fiery Christian woman who has a passion for women’s ministry following her radical salvation in the middle of a thunderstorm nine years ago. This passion is driven by her own journey from darkness to light, and God’s demonstration of transforming grace and unmerited mercy. Indeed, it’s true- “Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished!” Luke 1:45. You will find her story “Defined by the Storm” a true inspiration and encouragement.

Shannon is a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church, and lives in Plano with her husband. She is a popular speaker for seventy year old Stonecroft Ministries, Gideon’s International, and is a member of the National Speakers Association and the International Speaker's Network.  Mightily influenced by Jean and Zig Ziglar since coming to Christ nine years ago, she shares her highly relational message of motivation and hope across the country to pastoral staff, couples, women, and to other groups by invitation. 

My Beliefs.

There is one God:  The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  He is Eternal Creator.  Jesus Christ is God's Son, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, was buried, arose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and WILL return to earth again!  The Bible is the entire true word.  It is errorless, and God breathed (inspired).  Salvation is the free gift through Jesus Christ our Lord- who is the single way to the Father- and ANYONE who believes in Him, through repentance and faith- their salvation is secure forever!  Amen and Amen!
